About Me

Describe Yourself:About me? I am 22, from Orlando, FL. Born & raised here. I am a freelance artist-for-hire. It means being poor most of the time, but at least I am doing something I can believe in. My current flavor of the week is lowbrow surrealism but my real passion is for the traditional artists: Van Gogh, DaVinci, Michelangelo, Escher. I should've lived back then in a time when art was art & not the trash people churn out these days. But I digress. :) I am also in love with body art. I have 3 tattoos & 19 piercings, if you count my ears.
I love reading a lot, too. Hunter S. Thompson, Clive Barker, Jack Vance. I will also read any scientific textbook I can get my hands on. I read a lot about psychology & philosophy & physics. Astronomy is another good one. Up until recently I was deep into alternate religion, but then a subtle Darwinist streak suddenly blossomed within me & I see religions completely different now. I see belief now as more of a *means* to an end rather than an end in itself.
In my spare time I play/write music & short stories. My instruments are bass, piano & flute. You can hear some my tunes here: myspace.com/songsofflesh I don't do it as much as I'd like. But its fun.
I also love to play chess & disc golf. :) -
